RB1-3 HTRI Analysis of New Cases in the DOE/ANL/HTRI Tube Vibration Data Bank

HTRI prepares the data cases to be added to the Tube Vibration Data Bank. The first additions to the original data set of fifteen cases have recently been forwarded. This Research Brief describes the comparison of the predictions by the HTRI Computer Programs Vibration Analysis Procedures with the observations for sixteen new cases. The results are quite good in spite of some discovered problems in simulation, particularly for exchangers with U-tube bundles or with double-segmental baffles.
