Heat transfer and pressure drop predictions from Xist^™ 1.0 and CST 3.3 were compared for shellside condensation; results show that Xist 1.0 predicts HTRI shellside condensation data better than does CST. More than 600 data points, including condensation of pure components and mixtures, were included in the comparison.
