Using field data from light hydrocarbon total vaporizers, HTRI developed a two-phase model for the use of twisted tapes. The model was based on HTRI single-phase methods modified by intube two-phase corrections and adjusted to best fit the field data. This report describes the development of the twisted tape method and compares calculated results with field data.
